Family is home

Genuine, candid, and artistic photos of your family

(and fur-baby)

I love embracing the chaos that IS family life and capturing all your unique personalities in a beautiful, candid, yet imperfect way.

Hiring a family photographer can be time-consuming and stressful. I get it.

I can help you through this whole crazy, fun process

I’m a mom of 5 (yep, you read that right!) and I feel like I can barely keep up with my own life besides hiring another photographer to photograph us, get my husband (and kids) on board, pick out *the perfect* outfit AND look good.  I sweat just thinking about it.  But having been in front of the camera several times, I’m here to tell you it’s worth it.

We schedule a quick chat and talk about your photography needs and which session suits your family best. We then book the session and I send you a contract, retainer invoice and a prep guide.

YOUR SESSION EXPERIENCE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ME.

My goal is to take the stress out of family photography for you. Most families say they are surprised by how much fun they have when we meet to make their images.

I approach every session with intention, to make you feel comfortable, to guide you in a way that helps your personalities emerge naturally, to bring out the belly laughs, the tender snuggles, and to make the whole process feel effortless and fun.

MY SESSIONS ARE FUN, LAID BACK, AND MEANINGFUL.

We meet at the selected location and I get right on your kids' level first! (I have been called a kid-whisperer frequently because of my goofy sensibilities.) We laugh, and whisper, play games, and have fun.

In about 2 weeks, once your gallery is completed, I upload the high resolution images to a password protected gallery that is delivered to you digitally.  I am happy to give high quality printing recommendations and always here for you even after your session.
