ABOUT ME
Originally from Colorado, I now call the beautiful Village of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin home.
The hubby & I, along with our five littles (yep, you read that right) moved for a new opportunity and the adventure was too good to resist.
While editing I’m usually watching Merlin or Schitt’s Creek. My husband thinks I’m crazy for how many times I’ve restarted the whole series (both of them)- it’s not my fault he doesn’t know what good TV is.
I'm obsessed with meeting new people and learning their stories. It’s my goal to create at least one classically beautiful portrait with everyone looking at the camera and smiling for all of the families that I photograph. But there is so much more to the family story that I want to capture for you as well. I’m there to get the silly moments in between the posed shots.
I once read an article that said that children who see themselves loved in pictures as they grow up, naturally feel more loved. Over time, this has become the bedrock of what I do for others. Life is not always picture perfect. But the love a family shares is. I want my clients to forever have reminders of that through beautiful photography. No words needed.

Micah and I have been married since January of 2007 and have welcomed 5 beautiful and crazy children over that time. They are my everything and my main motivation to be a family photographer.
